WORSHIP

  • Worship at Family and Friends Adventist Virtual Network Church: Ellen G. White, a co-founder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, emphasized the importance of worship in our relationship with God:

  • Worship is the heartbeat of our spiritual life: a time when we gather to honor the Creator who calls us to be a part of His eternal purpose. At Family and Friends Adventist Virtual Network Church, worship is a transformative experience where we:

  • Celebrate the Holiness of God: “Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms” (Psalm 95:2).

Acknowledge His Sovereignty:

  • Acknowledge His Sovereignty: “Thine, O Lord, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine” (1 Chronicles 29:11).

Acknowledge His Sovereignty:

  • Respond to His Call: "The call to worship is given by the first angel in Revelation 14:6-7, and is addressed to a humanity that is idolatrous and superstitious.

Worship as an Act of Faith:

“Pray, pray earnestly and without ceasing, but do not forget to praise. It becomes every child of God to vindicate His character. You can magnify the Lord; you can show the power of sustaining grace” (Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5).

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal
